It's more togetherness. I can't stand being with my best friend 24/7 leave alone a husband.

Guys give me a headache. I've done long-term relationships and have found the lustful state to be the most taxing.

I am trying to overcome trust issues with guys so it is in my writing because no matter how much you plot it away from your life your own judgments seep in.

The grasshopper is finished...all CC'ers that read that do not bug me about it. It's finished and in a folder and shall remain there, because I think it sucks.

My nano is mid-grade.

It is German. It means "Not Sweet." I am sick of being told I'm sweet and so hence the title.

CC, is the best site for writers ever and no it's not invite. Just go to critiquecircle.com and sign up. If you do be sure to let me know your screen name.

Lei, Liana Brooks?, is a member, and it's sorta like a huge family.marieconley3https://www.blogger.com/profile/15233621656503087366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5394770158316456934.post-41001427494422800552008-10-08T09:10:00.000-05:002008-10-08T09:10:00.000-05:00Hey, there! Thought I should comment on your blog,...Hey, there! Thought I should comment on your blog, as well. :)

I just read your post from May 20th about writing 11 chapters, your little rant on marriage, and that you started a children's book.

I think it should take a long time to write novels - if they're too quick, they're sloppy, so good job on pacing yourself.

Marriage - ah, yes, being tied to one person forever - the fights, the miscommunication, the endless frustration! However, I think (and this is just my opinion) that what you're thinking is that marriage should be a lustful state of mind the entire time. Wrong. I've been married for 6 years - and the key to our marriage actually being happy? Communication and Trust. Now - those are two really hard things to work on, but we keep working on them, and we're doing great. Even with a 2-year old. Whew. Marriage = work. If you're both not willing to work and give 200%, then well, you're doomed.

I hope you can find a way to write about romance in your stories even though you don't have a firm conviction of it. I wrote about a girl being kidnapped - and I've never been kidnapped. She falls in love with one of her captors - that's never happened to me. How is that possible? To fall in love with somebody who is essentially abusing you? Well, I did a lot of research. Maybe you should watch a lot of chick-flicks??? Or would that make you hurl? (laughing quietly)

Sorry, I'm ranting.

I'm in awe that you can write mid-grade stuff (children's stuff). That's way beyond me! So good job! Are you still working on it or finished?

Okay - and here's where I'm going to show my stupidity:

What does the name of your blog mean? Night Suss? Sorry, is it German? I don't know German. It's probably a phrase most people know, even in English, but I don't. Hang my head in shame.

And CC? Is it a site I have to be invited to? See, I'm clueless. I'll admit it.

Hope all is going well!

--MichelleMichelle D. Argylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09696465137285587646noreply@blogger.com
